Accessibility Statement

Our commitment

TNT Tax Specialists wants this website to be usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, screen magnification, or other assistive technology. We've built accessibility into the site's design rather than treating it as an afterthought, and we keep working to improve it.

Standard we target

We target the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, the standard most commonly referenced for business websites.

Measures we've taken

• A visible "Skip to content" link at the top of every page, for keyboard users to bypass repeated navigation.
• Visible focus styles on every interactive element, so keyboard users can always see where they are on the page.
• A logical heading structure (one H1 per page, in order) so screen reader users can navigate by heading.
• Text and interactive elements checked against WCAG's AA contrast requirements.
• Descriptive alternative text on informational images; purely decorative images are marked so screen readers skip them.
• A keyboard-operable, disclosure-style navigation menu (no hover-only menus) — including on desktop, where a pointer hovering the "IRS Help" menu and keyboard/touch activation both go through the same open/close behavior, so its state is announced consistently either way.
• Touch targets sized at least 44×44 pixels on mobile.
• A visible focus indicator on every interactive element that stays visible on both light and dark sections of the page (navy hero, footer, and buttons included), not just on a plain white background.
• A visible "(opens in a new tab)" cue, for screen reader and sighted users alike, on every link that leaves this site in a new tab.
• Respect for your operating system's reduced-motion setting, for visitors sensitive to animation.

Known limitations

Our Contact page embeds a scheduling calendar provided by a third party, Calendly. We can't fully control the accessibility of that embedded widget.
